Data tables for each individual comet

 
 

Following we present a set of tables with the reduced data for each individual comet. Each data table contains the following columns:

r (AU) HN Inbound / Outbound Mag. code Date Reported Mag. Phase Observatory code MPC Number Observer/Observatory Name
  1. r (AU) - Heliocentric distance of the comet at the observing time
  2. HN - Reduced Magnitude - V(1,1,0) ( 1 AU from the Sun and the Earth and 0° phase angle)
  3. Inbound / Outbound - Position in the inbound or outbound section of the orbit (preperihelion or postperihelion)
  4. Mag. code - Magnitude code according to Table 2
  5. Date - Date of observation
  6. Reported Mag. - Reported magnitude as appear in the source
  7. Phase - Phase angle (°)
  8. Observatory code - MPC code for the Observatory (only valid for data taken from MPC)
  9. MPC Number - Number of the MPCircular from which the data is extracted
  10. Observer/Observatory Name - For data taken from specific articles and from CLICC it appears the name of the observer. For data taken from the MPC we just know the name of the observatory.
